The Study Of The Inscriptions On The Three Instruments Of The Hegemony And Related Issues

The cemetery of kingdom Ba has unearthed a large number of bronze wares.Among them,"He with shape of brid(鸟形盉)","Yu of bo of kingdom Ba(霸伯盂)"and "Gui of bo of kingdom Ba(霸伯簋)" have more important inscriptions.They are valuable materials to study the subinfeudation system,the use of wares and the national fusion of the Western Zhou Dynasty.This article selects the three inscriptions as the research object.By collecting the academic interpretations and textual researches of those experts,the author will make a comparison among these points and present a subjective and fair assessment to provide a reference in studies of bronze wares of kingdom Ba.Section 1:Introduction.First,a brief introduction about the cemetery of kingdom Ba,describe the objects,methods,innovation points and difficulties in study.Then,introduce the status quo of inscriptions which come from&"He with shape of brid","Yu of bo of kingdom Ba"and "Gui of bo of kingdom Ba",extract the main ideas of researchers.Finally,briefly introduce research condition of the Pin Li system and solemn promise of Western Zhou Dynasty.Section 2:Inscriptions’ interpretation.Severally spresd out the main ideas about each sentences and characters which experts have researched.Then show the author’s own points of view below per character.Finally,make a comparison by tabulations and point out the author’s explanations about the inscriptions.Section 3:Related studies.In this part,the author primarily focus on the Pin Li system which has showed in the inscription of "Yu of bo of kingdom Ba" and the solemn promise has showed in the inscription of "He with shape of brid".By trying to find out the differences between these inscription records and the literature records,the author will put forward her own opinions about these issues.
