As an important content of Wang Yangming thought,"send the conscience"doctrine is not only the tenet of giving lectures in his life time and the guiding principle of Wang Yangming School in the study and practical activities.After Wang Yangming died,his disciples have different understanding and realization of "send the conscience"doctrine.Since the twentieth century,the understanding of "send the conscience"doctrine has formed two different orientations of philosophical theory and spiritual belief,dealing with the basic orientations of "send the conscience" doctrine's purpose and Wang Yangming's philosophy.However,these two different orientations have their own interpretations of the rationality and deficiency.Firstly,as a continuous historical existence,Confucianism has its own justice system.For instance,Neo-Confucianism has its own unique moral system in the way of heaven and human nature.But if the"send the conscience" doctrine is understood from the philosophical theory of conceptual cognition,its spiritual essence contained behind theory speculation is ignored.Secondly,although it is understandable that Confucianism is regarded as a spiritual belief of the Chinese people,it may defilade the true power supporting the belief if the "send the conscience" doctrine is only understood from the dimensional prospective of the belief.Then,what is the spiritual essence of "send the conscience"doctrine?If we return to Yangming's specific discourse background of" send the conscience"doctrine,it will be found that,regardless of the main moral practice foundation formed by the " send the conscience" doctrine,or from the prospective of giving lectures to make him a good person,the meaning of"send the conscience" doctrine in the form of self-cultivation is that the conscience is manifested in the content of human spiritual life and emotional life and is truly owned by others in order to transform the inner spirit of human.The self-cultivation process is exposed to reveal the meaning of the "send the conscience" doctrine as the essence of the education of bearing morality.Therefore,from the prospective of the arguing-study relationship between Wang Yangming and his disciples,the paper selects three prominent disciples,Qian Dehong,Ouyang De and Zou Shouyi,who all were earlier enlightened by Wang Yangming and had their own unique understanding of conscience doctrine.From their learning and thinking courses and life experiences,they were all enlightened by Wang Yang Ming,gained their own spiritual consciousness but differed in choosing the self-cultivation practice and shaping self spiritual life,which showcases the same connotation of "send the conscience"doctrine—the education of bearing morality from the different sides of conscience self-cultivation practice.In the practical lecture activities,Wang Yangming always gave directions for the kindness and benevolence that really flow in a individual life at any time,namely,conscience.It is not only the value root that why people are distinguished from other things but serves as a guide to the individual practice.On the basis,"send the conscience " doctrine is not a theory with a view to understanding.While,it creates a morality life by self-cultivation practice to transform the spiritual temperament of the individual life.This is the reason why Wang Yangming and his disciples conduct the"send the conscience" doctrine and attach great importance to personal temperament self-cultivation and social civilization of transforming social traditions.Regardless of as a kind of philosophical theory or spiritual belief,"send the conscience" doctrine can not avoid the most basic and core connotation—"To be a ethical person and to be a ture person".Wang Yangming's philosophy of the mind signifies a high peak in the development of the Neo-confucianism,with its main tenet of“send the conscience"doctrine.The inherits and reveals the value of Cheng De Cheng Ren,whose value orientation undoubtedly represents the mental belong:ings of the Neo-confucianism or even the whole Confucianism.Therefore,interpreting the Confucianism from this perspective may provide a possible interpretation path for developing the Neo-confucianism or even the whole Confucianism.
