As one of the founders of British cultural anthropology,Malinowski's theory of cultural function has a wide range of influence at home and abroad. He emphasized the satisfaction of the demand and believed that the function was to satisfy the required function. He believed that the theory of historical evolution was speculation and the remaking of history. The function is universal and indispensable. The universality of function exists in any cultural phenomenon. This article takes Malinowski's cultural function theory as the research perspective, first analyzes the background and source of Malinowski's cultural function theory,on the one hand, points out that this theory is the product of the crisis of the times, and on the other hand,It is pointed out that Darwin's theory of evolution and Durkheim's social functionalism constitute an important source of his theory. The article analyzes Malinowski's analysis of cultural connotations, including the definition of culture, the material and spiritual aspects of the culture, and the cultural elements of the myths, religions, and witchcraft that he is concerned about. The study elaborated the main content of Malinowski's cultural function theory. The core of this theory is the analysis of the function and function of culture and its constituent elements. Its perspective and theoretical goal are the human forehead needs, including basic biological needs, social needs, and spiritual needs.Malinowski tries to construct the cultural functionalism system building based on the basic needs of people. The significance of Marx's cultural functionalism was analyzed, focusing on the impact of the doctrine on society at that time and on the influence of modern civilization.Modern civilization was greatly influenced by Western civilization and was contaminated with more individualism. This also led to many "cultural mental illnesses." Malinowski's theory of cultural functions helps to analyze the "causes" of these problems and promote the sustainable development of human culture.
