Through Group Counseling To Improve The Research On The Aggressive Influence Of Juvenile Offenders' Self-control

As some research make clear,the aggression of juvenile offenders' are obviously have the high level than normal persons,the aggression's level relate to many factors,including the objective effects such as natural environment,families and the education in the school,and the subjective effects such as Personality structure,self-esteem,values,self-control and so on.The American criminologist Gottfredson & Tirschi in their study of “the general theory of crime”,Self-control is the only variable to explain the crime or not.That is in the same situation,people with low self-control are more likely to make criminal facts than people with high self-control.This paper is based on their "general theory of crime",The self-control of juvenile offenders is lower than that of normal people,By the way of group counseling on juvenile psychological intervention to improve the level of self-control and Reduce aggression,In order to reduce their crime probably.The purpose of the research was to verify the effect of group counseling on improving the self-control of juvenile offenders,meanwhile,it provides some references for the development of group counseling in the national prison system.In the first part of this paper,we use the questionnaire to test the self-control and aggression of juvenile offenders,and preliminary analysis of test results,it was significantly related to juvenile self-control and aggression.The second part of the paper combined with the theory of self-control to prepare a set of group counseling program,group counseling for juvenile offenders at the frequency of a weekly frequency,then test of self-control and Aggression Questionnaire after the completion of the whole counseling,and compared with the data before the counseling.The results showed that after the group counseling,the control level of the juvenile offenders was significantly improved,and there was a significant reduction in aggression.But in there was no significant difference in some dimensions.The third part of this paper is to evaluate the effect of group counseling.The results show that the group counseling program is effective in improving the self-control of juvenile offenders.
