The article is focused on research of vocabulary and exercise match of a “New Practical Chinese Reader” and Chinese Proficiency Test(New HSK),on this basis analysis and probe into taking a New HSK,explore “New Practical Chinese Reader” advantages and disadvantages,according research’s results advance taking exam strategy and propose the teaching suggestion.Vocabulary is the most important component of language.There is no doubt,that vocabulary should be taken into consideration whether in language teaching or in learning of foreign language,Teaching Chinese as a second language is not an exception,too.In addition,research of vocabulary teaching can directly effect on teachers’ teaching level and students’ learning level.Nowadays,the New HSK(level 4)becomes more popular every year,number of people taking this exam steadily increase,that’s why it is absolutely necessary to research on vocabulary teaching and strategy of taking the New HSK.The article selects the “New Practical Chinese Reader” the 3rd and the 4th textbooks and the New HSK(level 4)program to systematically analysis the similarities and differences of vocabulary and exercises.The article focuses on the improving students’ vocabulary and exercises learning,providing teaching suggestions and trying to explore whether the “New Practical Chinese Reader” is suitable for the New HSK(level 4).
