Bilingual code-switching mechanism was the focus of psychological linguistics. Bilingual vocabulary-conceptual characterization was a hot issue of bilingual researchers. Under the condition of translation initiation, The lexical semantic judgment experiment was one of the important paradigms. In the early study, the researchers used Chinese-English and English-English cross-language translations to start the paradigm more. It's relatively rare to take English Interpretation-English and Chinese Interpretation-English to start the experimental design paradigm.This study included two experiments. Experiment 1 used 2 (vocabulary level: high and low)x 2 (paraphrase starting mode: Chinese-English, English-English) x 1 (new words), a three-factor mixed design. Experiment 2 adopted a three-factor mixed design of 2 (English level: high and low) x 2 (familiarity: high and low) x2 (translation initiation mode: Chinese-English,English-English).Through the experimental research,The results of experiment 1 was as follows:First, Chinese-English and English-English semantic judgment tasks were related to the emergence of translation priming effect.Second, in the Chinese-English paradigm, the correct rate of the high vocabulary group was higher than English-English, and the difference was not significant; The correct rate of the low vocabulary group was higher than English-English, and the difference was significant.Third, the reaction of the high vocabulary group in the Chinese-English paradigm was higher than English-English. There was no significant difference between the two correct rates of high vocabulary group participants between Chinese to English and English to English paradigm.The results of experiment 2 were as follows:First, Chinese-English and English-English semantic judgment tasks were related to the emergence of translation priming effect.Second, the response of the two groups was significantly lower than English-English, and the difference was significant. The correct rate of Chinese initiation of English paradigm was significantly higher than English to English.Third, there was a significant difference in the response time between the high and low English level groups used Chinese to English and English to English.The study showed that in the initial stage of second language acquisition, the connection between Chinese and English was asymmetric. The semantic link between Chinese and English was greater than English to English. The second language is contacted with the concept through the translation of the first language. The mental representation of junior middle school students was still dominated by lexical link model. The results supported the lexical link model.
