This paper make use of semantic activation study paradigm to do a further study of unskilled biligualism at the conclusion of in previous bilingual mastery theory and empirical research.This paper first introduces the domestic and foreign researchers about the concept of bilingual Knowledge Representation, research methods, current status, and so on. Because of research methods and the differences in the levels of subject, in the past, experimental results are also different.This paper was to conduct a detailed description of the subject sample and use activation study paradigm to study the second language access mechanism.University students are subjects of the experimental.Their English proficiency has reached the level of College English 4, but did not pass the level of college English 6. The age learned English is between 11 and 12 years old.Right-handed. Vision or corrected Vision is normal.The strokes of a chinese character is 5-7.The range of words frequency is 900-90,the average level is 588.1 for all chinese character from 8000 words used usually.The conclusions are as followings:1,When English words,primer and the English word, goal stimulus existed the translation relations, the experimental has been a significant priming effect. That is, two languages share the same semantic representation.2,When English words,primer and the Chinese characters,goal stimulus no existence of forms of relations, there was no priming effect, that is, the former produced inhibition on the latter. Bilingual mental lexicon in the form of level vocabulary in both languages storage separately.3,When English words,primer and the English word, goal stimulus existed the semantic relationship(antonym),the experimental results a priming effect, that is, the relationship of semantic association promote the access to a second language.4,The Lexical Accessing mechanical of English of university students works by the first language translation. |
