A Study Of The Tombs Of Tang Xianzong To The Emperor's Tomb

As the Dunhuang and stela literature are discovered,there is an increasing study in unauthorized characters,achieving lots of good results since modern times.Due to the short time,there still have many existing materials to be studied and unlocked, and one of the most important part is epitaph.So this thesis is mainly studying the epitaph materials of Tang dynasty which is from A.D.806 to A.D.907.And finally it will achieve four goals: the arrangement of unauthorized characters,the classification of unauthorized characters and the study of comlicatated ones.Then it is trying to discover the envolvement rules between them.This thesis includes five parts.The first part is to introduce why we choose this subject as a study object,and the approaches needed.Chapter one is mainly talking about the concepts of unauthorized characters ,the standard of how to screen out them and the research results of predecessors.Chapter two is classifying the unauthorized characters after the arrangement of them. Choose some representative characters to analyze and give a clear explanation of each of them.Chapter three is contrasting the epitaph with the research results of predecessors,which is including Assembly Studying about Tang Dynasty Epitaph ,Continuation of Assembly Studying about Tang Dynasty Epitaph ,Supplement of Complete Literature Works of Tang Dynasty,New Adaptation of Complete Literature Works of Tang Dynasty.Then we will find out the mistakes and analyze the reasons with the help of the classification of Chapter one. Chapter four is to summarize the significance of study of unauthorized characters.It not only contributes to proofreading the study of epitaph,but also provides a banch of unauthorized characters,which can make up for the unauthorized characters of Dunhuang.At the end,it will reflect the development of unauthorized characters and conclude the laws between them.The innovations of this thesis mainly have the following four aspects.First,it is trying to analyze the unauthorized characters by the classification method of ancient writing,and make clear about the developing process,which makes breakthroughs compared with the previous studies.Second,systematically summarizing the falsifying and mixing components,it is of reference significance to the study of unauthorized characters.Third,it focuses on the practical application of unauthorized characters.Last but not the least,it pays attention to summarize the law of unauthorized characters.
