Research On The Daily Life Writing Of Chinese Local Novels In The New Century

Countryside has been one of the major themes that Chinese writers focused on since the May Fourth Movement. Due to their different historical and cultural backgrounds, different writers use different narrative strategies and skills to write about countryside, such as local writing based on national criticism; pastoral native writing; rural writing of revolution and class theory; rural writing that serves the workers, peasants and soldiers and socialist construction; local writing of civil standpoint; macro-view of rural reform of rural writing, and so on. In the 21st century, one of the most important changes occurring in local novels was that trivial daily life became writers'favor. It is worthwhile to note that probing the rural life and daily life of the farmers was becoming a new trend in novels of the new century.To deeply study the daily life of the literary writing in the new century, first of all, we need to clarify the "daily life" that is accustomed to, but in fact is an ambiguous concept. "Daily life turned" is actually an important transformation of society since 1980s. In this regard, Yi Junqing carried out deep and fruitful research on the daily life theory. Based on the research of Yi Junqing,this paper systematically analyzes the creation of local novels since the new century. Studying the literary writing of the daily life of the countryside in the new century, in fact, is to study the transition from the traditional daily life to modern daily life in details. And the thesis will study why and how the transition occurred and how literature, especially novels revealed this transformation and gave prescriptions, which constitute the starting point of this thesis.The thesis contains four chapters, which will comprehensively examine the everyday life writing of the local novels in the new century from several aspects. The introduction part briefly describes the daily life theory, the writing tradition of daily life novel, the new century since the daily life narrative research, and put forward the research ideas of this thesis.The first chapter studies the form of rural daily space in the local novels of the new century, starting from three aspects including the land, the village and the home. The second chapter analyzes the rural daily life schema in the novels of the new century, focusing on the traditional customs, experience and morality. The third chapter analyzes the new rural relations,from the emotional,power,money aspects. The fourth chapter summarizes the different narrative gestures and strategies of the local novel writers in the new century.On the basis of reading the text of the local novels of the new century, this paper takes the daily life of the Chinese novels of the new century as the starting point, and studies the daily life of the rural novels in the new century under the control of the daily life of the city as the "other"and tries to summarize the achievements and problems of daily life narration in Chinese novels of the new century.
