| In recent years, the enrollment of broadcasting and hosting profession in China’s colleges and universities are exploding severely, which lead to the amount of graduations from this major far beyond the social demand in every year. The cause of this phenomenon is mainly due to the halo effect of television stars, moreover, the academic performance requirements for arts professions are relatively low which lead to the students blindly registration for examinations.Currently, the contradiction between supply and demand of broadcasting professions are prominent, many students of broadcasting and hosting profession can’t get the position of TV host after graduation. It is this phenomenon that inspired the author to take a feature programme which records the life of graduates of broadcasting and hosting profession, namely My Dream of An Anchor. We hope that this feature film can make people(including students who continuously and blindly registered in the art entrance examination, their parents and the general college students and graduates)to reflect on this major. The feature film My Dream of An Anchor mainly can be divided into three parts, namely, the pre-phase planning and preparation, the medium-term filming and the post-production.Through a large number of interviews with graduates of broadcasting and hosting, and combined my experience in the working process of broadcasting and hosting post, the author adopted the knowledge gained during the postgraduate period created the TV character feature films My Dream of An Anchor. This feature film opened the mysterious veil of anchor behind the scenes, and it also invited 16 relevant graduates and teachers from different colleges, different regions and different vocations to talk about their cognition and understanding of this profession. The creation of the film can provide reference and video materials for the research on present situation of the graduates from broadcasting and hosting major. It is also a kind of exploration and enrichment for the creation of the TV characters feature films. |
