"Anthropomorphic and interpersonal" are the quintessence of Hosting Communication.As media technology evolves unremittingly,host appears in the mass communication with interpersonal communication as their feature,creating a "pseudo" communication atmosphere,and bridging the "emotional gap" caused by static media such as newspapers to a certain extent.Nonetheless,the formalized innovation(the emergence of the host)can not guarantee the excellent communication effect of the program.The "division" existing in the process of communication will also become a negative constraint.Therefore,clearing up the "division" has been a task to be finished.In the field of Hosting Communication,"division" exists in all aspects.For instance,lack of tacit,understanding and cohesion between the host and their team;The emotional barrier and lack of interaction between the host and the program guests;The expectation gap and trust crisis between the host and the screen audience.Underpinned by the problem consciousness of "clearing up the division",this paper,with Kenneth Burke’s new rhetoric "identification" theory as the theoretical perspective,uses the methods of literature analysis,case analysis,discourse analysis and work creation,trying to put forward the same strategy of clearing up the division through the analysis of the typical program and the graduation work "Picking up beads in the sea: ‘Chinese Peasant Painting’ ".The parts of this paper are as follows:The first chapter of this paper mainly elaborates on the significance and purpose of the research,summarizes the relevant research on "the identification effect of Host Communication" and "the identification theory of new rhetoric" at home and abroad,and discusses the current situation and existing problems in the research field.In addition,this chapter also explains the four research methods used.In the second chapter,the author traces back the "identification" theory in Kenneth Burke’s new rhetoric,and explains the theoretical background,theoretical content,category and utility of the "identification" theory.In the third chapter,relied on the "identification" theory,the author first lists the "division" existing in the Host Communication,and summarizes the three "identification strategies",featuring orality,commonly used by hosts with typical programs as examples,namely interactive communication,humanistic communication and intelligent communication.The fourth chapter of this paper summarizes the graduation work,analyzes the merits and drawbacks of the program based on the graduation work "Picking up pearls in the sea: ‘Chinese Peasant Painting’".In the fifth chapter,the author explores the identification strategy in "content" level and "form" level.The last chapter of this paper explains the problems encountered in three stages,namely before,during and after the creation of the work,summarizes the whole research on the effectiveness of "identification",and makes some tentative ideas and prospects for the future research of new rhetoric.
