This article takes The "Yongle Canon" as a subject of research,studies on calligraphy art of official transcripts in Ming Dynasty.In Ming Dynasty,block printing and transcript are two major forms for book making and distribution."Transcript" is a hand writing copy based on an original textbook,which is divided into two categories,private transcript and official transcript.Private transcript,also called nongovernmental transcript,is a generic name for the transcripts written by unofficial literiti,scholars and collectors who has taken transcription as fashion,not level in calligraphy and styles.Official transcript,usually refers to the transcript written by the government selected professional writers who were invited into the imperial house copying textbook in accordance with the officially specified writing style,the overall calligraphy level is therefore higher and the style is unified.The "Yongle Canon "is the perfect sample of the official transcript calligraphy of Ming Dynansty.Composing history in prosperous era,the main driving force of the Ming Dynasty official transcript of the calligraphy of the Ming Dynasty,the main driving force is the court from the practical point of view for the ruler services.The political role of the transcript calligraphy in the Ming Dynasty got the unprecedented attention,and slowly developed to "taking the officeholder based on calligraphy" and It gradually formed a system.The candidate's calligraphy began to occupy an important position in the imperial examination."Taige Style(cabinet style)" was widely popular in the Ming Dynasty,originated in the field of literature,the calligraphy also had a great impact to calligraphy.The "Taige" style calligraphy is particularly evident,specifically embodied for the rulers of the "Yongle Canon"."Guange Style",in the literature and calligraphy has always been considered as a style which is not high taste,but highly stylized,no personality characteristics,low-level form.It is not been taken seriously in history,or often used as a negative textbook.Through the overall investigation of the official transcript of the Ming Dynasty,and the serious analysis of the calligraphy of the "Yongle Canon",the historical prejudices were put forward and the significance of the study on the contemporary literature of the Ming Dynasty was reexamined.The study is implemented in several aspects,including the historical background,the composition of the transcript working team,the style of calligraphy,the learning objects,the role of political culture,the development of"Guange style"in Qing Dynasty.This is also the significance and Innovation of this study.
