| Since the launch of the "Peach Blossom Spring" by Tao Yuanming in the Eastern JinDynasty,Peach Blossom Spring as a fairyland far from the real world had become a"utopia" in the mind of many Chinese literati.For ages,the painting based on the themeof "Peach Blossom Spring" had emerged one after another,Which especially prevailed:in Jiangnan area of middle and late period of the Ming Dynasty,when Wen Zhengmingas the core of the literati in Jiangnan area created a few of such pieces.By taking Wen Zhengming’s "Taoyuan painting" as the main study object,this paperfirst analyzed the "implication " of Taoyuan in Tao Yuanming’s "Peach BlossomSpring" and found out that Tao Yuanming pursued a Taoyuan World away from secularsociety,free and equal in the "Peach Blossom Spring",second discussed the developmentroute of Taoyuan paintings and compared their similarities and differences in the past byexamples,and finally summarized the creation time of Wen Zhengming’s "Taoyuanpainting" and the writing of Tao poetry.Based on the life experience of WenZhengming,the paper mainly analyzed the picture language and expression of artisticconception of "Taoyuan Biejing Painting"and "Taoyuan Wenjin Painting",and summedup the "Taoyuan complex" of Wen Zhengming-to go back to his own art garden,andlong for a peaceful and happy life.In Jiangnan area of the middle and late Ming dynasty,frustrated scribes like Wen Zhengming who suffered from aspiration frustration andfailure of the imperial examination were common,they couldn’t realize their goal ofbeing admitted as the official,or saw through the darkness of officialdom,therefore alot of them chose to live in seclusion and created a lot of "Taoyuan Paintings "due to aspecial feeling for the subject of isolated life like Taoyuan created by Tao Yuanming inorder to express their noble aspirations,which is the reason for the popularity ofTaoyuan Paintings in the Middle and Late Periods of the Ming Dynasty. |
