Shanghai Documentary Photography From 1990 To 2010

From the late 80 s of last century,Shanghai photography art entered a new period of departure.Shanghai is the forefront of China’s reform and opening up,is an important interface to connect the world,with a wealth of foreign data input.At the same time,with the emergence of the North River Union,Shanghai City documentary photography began to rise.In the beginning of 90 s,with a number of famous photographers such as Zhou Ming,Lu Yuanmin,and a group of theorists and mature forest road,Shanghai Gu Zheng for photography academic support,Shanghai documentary photography began to mature.And enter the new millennium,with the rapid development of information and network,the contemporary documentary photography began to All flowers bloom together.,the emergence of a number of different with the traditional documentary photography and photography,but also the emergence of a number of such as Zhu Feng,mats,bird head,Zheng Zhiyuan and a number of contemporary documentary photographer.And as a representative of the traditional documentary photographer Zhou Ming also constantly changing their documentary photography,even beyond the times.Domestic papers have analysis for the case of Shanghai city in 90 s of documentary photography,examples of Yonghe et al in 90 s the creation of this analysis,however,the reference to contemporary documentary photography technique and the fusion of city photography are relatively poor.Shanghai itself as a city is constantly changing.It is thought in the huge city,Shanghai city can develop into what photography is,what are the characteristics of it.This article will take the contemporary documentary photography as a clue,take the photographer’s case as an example,to comb and analyze the development of Shanghai metropolis documentary photography since 1990 to the year of 2010.This paper summarizes the development of Shanghai’s contemporary documentary photography,and the significance and influence of the development of Shanghai’s contemporary documentary photography on Shanghai’s photography.
