Education plays a very significant role in promoting the development of the country,so paying attention to the development of education in the world is conducive to promoting the development and reform of education in our country.This translation text is chosen from the second and fourth chapters of Innovating to Learn,Learning to Innovate,which mainly summarize and analysis the latest research results on learning sciences and alternative education.During the translation process of this text,it is difficult to choose words’ meaning,sort out the relationship between the elements of the complex sentences and make the version coherent.In the translation practice report,the author analyzes and summarizes the problems above,among which selection of word meaning is analyzed from four aspects such as reference of parallel texts and the text background,combination coherence and aggregation coherence,the translation of the long and complex sentences is analyzed from the aspects of the inversion,and the coherence of the paragraphs is analyzed from two aspects such as the tense coherence and logic coherence.I hope that this translation practice report can provide some reference for the translation of educational texts.
