Innovating To Learn, Learning To Innovate (Chapter 1, Chapter 7) English-Chinese Translation Practice Report

This report is based on the English-Chinese translation practice in the first and the seventh chapters of Innovating to Learn,Learning to Innovate,collected papers of education.The translation of this educational papers has importantly practical significance and academic value in promoting Chinese and Western academic exchanges and learning experience of innovative education.Therefore,this educational text is selected as a translation task.This report focuses on the problems and strategies of the cohesion when the text is translated from English to Chinese,as well as the problems and strategies of the transformation of sentence structures in the process of the translation from English to Chinese.In order that the translation is more precise,smooth and fluent,the contents of these two sections are mainly related to the analysis and relevant solutions to the problems of the grammatical cohesion,the conversion from subject-prominent sentences to topic-prominent sentences,and the transformation from tree structures to bamboo structures.
