| As a “young” major,TCSOL(Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language)has owned a lot of professional theoretical research with the help of Linguistic Theory,Intercultural Communication and Second Language Acquisition Theory.Professional teaching materials according to characteristics of different countries have been compiled and Corpus and case database construction has achieved fruitful results.However there are still some deficiencies: feedback from foreign learners who receive the Chinese language education is still lacking.Therefore,doing conversational interview with some successful and representative objects could give us first-hand information of experience and feeling of those foreign learners,so as to provide some new ideas for the development of TCSOL.The author of this paper contacts with many foreigners in China in his study and work,and has gained lots of inspiration of the study and application of the second language teaching from their teaching and study experience.Therefore,the author decided to use "Dialogue Interview: Case Analysis of Chinese Learning for Foreigners in China" as the topic of the thesis.On the one hand,the topic of professional master’s degree thesis should focus on finding,analyzing and proposing the solution to the problem from the actual investigation and on the other hand the author hopes to summarize the method of learning the "Second Language" through interview,in order to provide useful inspiration for Chinese teaching and Chinese culture promotion.The three "Chinese learners" interviewed in this thesis are chosen carefully.On the one hand,the three interviewees have a deep understanding of Chinese and Chinese culture.They have been living in China for a relatively long time and have received the Chinese education in varying degrees,so there is high-quality and rich experience for us to study.On the other hand,they come from different countries;it could help us to understand the specific situations of foreign students with different cultures of the East and West when they learn Chinese.In addition,the interview is mainly focused on three aspects: personal experience,Chinese learning experience and the related knowledge of Chinese culture,hoping that the author could sort out the first-hand authentic and effective information for classroom teaching,course offered and development of TCSOL based on the comprehensive understanding of the interviewees.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is the introduction,which briefly introduces the background and purpose of the thesis;the second part is the dialogue with the interviewees,including the brief introduction of the interviewees,preparation,content of the interview and the author’s analysis.The third part is "the enlightenment to TCSOL",which mainly includes the suggestions and inspiration for classroom teaching,course offered and development of TCSOL.As each in-depth interview took one or two months and the author spent much time on material finishing which make the coverage of the interview not wide enough:the author did not find enough interviewees able to cover all continents with different native languages.Besides,the author is not professional enough for the interview,sometimes the dialogue can not play in depth which making the content of the interview is not perfect.However,the most important intention of this paper is to remind more scholars to pay attention to the dialogue of foreigners in China in order to get more useful inspiration. |
