Interviews On Critical Style Studies

Originally,"Interviews" came into people's horizons as a news' style.But since the past few decades,particularly into the new century,it is widely used in the field of literary criticism.With its mass amount,wide range and deep involvement,it has been equipped with the temperament of a kind of independent literature criticism style.The study will be carried out namely under the identity in this paper.The introduction part outlines how does the interviews come into the research field as the identity of the critical style,which level does the research get in the field of verbal criticism and how to define it in the press and literary critics respectively.At the same time,it's showed that this is a conversational criticism's gradual achievement under the effect of news.Paper main body is divided into three parts:The first chapter is around the general development of Interviews.Thriving texts in 1980s and 1990s,as well as various forms in the new century are the key point.It emphatically describes the Interviews' prosperity in recent decades.Furthermore,it points out that all these are concerned with the history of literary theory tradition,promotion of times and the inner appeal of literary criticism.The second chapter analyzes Interviews' ontology of critical style.The chapter discusses from three aspects of stylistic types,stylistic characteristics and stylistic functions.With the different methods of classification,it has listed three types of classification,which are text and hypertext,simple questions and discussion research,interview and theoretical research.Closely nature style,it induces four kinds of characteristics,which are "timeliness and effectiveness","criticism and acceptance sharing one body simultaneously","conclusion towards seeking common ground while putting aside differences”and "language style between system-scattered and rigorous-interesting".On this basis,it summarizes various stylistic functions from three dimensions respectively of readers,critics and criticism itself.The third chapter views Interviews up to the height of value.In terms of social value,the reinforcement of "public" in the literatire public domain has been guaranteed.In terms of stylistic value,it has been thought as "dual-use" in news style and Literary criticism style.And it's also a "hatchet" between School of criticism and Media criticism.In terms of academic value,it mainly focuses on its unique value in the aspect of oral history.The epilogue part reaffirms Interviews' status as an independent literary criticism style.Besides,it also expresses the concern of dispelling of "independence',and the rational hopes for its future development.
