Research On Guo Shaoyus Literary Criticism Concept

Guo Shaoyu is a diversified scholar who has made great achievements in the history of literary criticism,linguistics,hermeneutics and other fields.He is one of the founders of the discipline of the history of Chinese literary criticism,together with Luo Genze and Zhu Dongrun,they are known as the "three peaks of Hua Yue" in the history of Chinese literature.His history of Chinese literary criticism is a model of many early critical works.In the research,he referred to the compilation methods of predecessors and applied the method of "systematic study of the old knowledge" and the "problem-based " approach to "preserve the original appearance of the ancients".The first chapter mainly discusses the origin of Guo Shaoyu's literary criticism.This chapter focuses on the social environment and research purpose of Guo Shaoyu's literary criticism.The literary idea of "Kuang juan" formed by the combination of the western ideas of literary theory and the Chinese classical culture,the evolutionary literary development view and the pure literary view,promoted the progress of the discipline of the history of Chinese literary criticism.From the research methods provided by sorting out chinese classics and the movement of new thoughts well as the literary theory thoughts and compilation paradigm provided by the history of Chinese literary criticism compiled by Chen Zhongfan and other scholars,Guo Shaoyu took the essence and discarded the dross to form his own unique research idea,which promoted the construction of the discipline of the history of Chinese literary criticism.The second chapter mainly discusses the formation of Guo Shaoyu's literary criticism.This chapter focuses on Guo shaoyu's contribution to the research object of literary criticism.Guo Shaoyu's definition of the concepts of "literature","pure literature" and "Kuang juan",his combing of the concept of pure literature as the main line,and his adherence to the national character of culture all reflect his rigorous manner of doing research and his reverence for knowledge,which play an important guiding role for later scholars to study the thought of ancient Chinese literary theory.The third chapter mainly discusses the contribution of Guo Shaoyu's literary criticism.This chapter focuses on Guo Shaoyu's contribution to the research method of literary criticism.The "systematized" arrangement,the "problematic" frame and the "realistic" purpose all provide a new mode of thinking for later scholars to study the history of Chinese literary criticism.Based on the works of Guo Shaoyu,the founder of the discipline of the history of criticism,this paper,from the perspective of aesthetic category,explores the background,core ideas and theoretical contributions of Guo Shaoyu's literary theory,and then reveals the status and value of his literary ideas in the whole history of Chinese literary criticism.
