Detachable words and their extended use are closely related to daily life,but in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,it has always been difficult,In the non Chinese context,it is more difficult.The author as a volunteer in Confucius Classroom at the Chinese Culture and International Education Exchange Center in South Africa.This paper attempts to find a suitable way for adult learners to learn the detachable words in the non Chinese context through the Chinese training program for the adult learners of the South African ministries and commissions.This paper first introduces the origin of the study,in the introduction part of the research status of detachable words are reviewed,and the significance of this topic,research content,research methods.The first chapter:through the questionnaire survey using detachable word analysis of learners errors appear in the use of detachable word,summed up the main form of bias:insert auxiliary bias,overlapping bias,insert complement bias,insert the partial attribute error.According to these errors,the causes of errors are summarized.The main reasons include:the generalization of the target language rules,the negative transfer of the mother tongue,the learners' avoidance psychology and the factors of the textbook compiling.In the second chapter,we analyzes the identity,learning purpose and learning style of learners.In order to understand the learning needs of adult learners in South Africa,so as to guide the teaching of detachable words.This chapter also analyzes the teaching content,through the "the Great Wall","Chinese comparative Chinese proficiency outline" and"Chinese words and Chinese characters level outline",to find out the common detachable words for South Africa at this stage the level of learners,and on the basis of determining the expanded use of detachable words.Combined with the error analysis of the first chapter and the analysis of the learners in this chapter,we found out the suitable learning strategies for adult learners in South Africa.In the third chapter of this thesis,a teaching design is carried out by using the extended use of the dynamic auxiliary words.The teaching design follows the law of adult acquisition of the second language,and based on the CSP teaching ideas,also combined with the theory of listening,task-based teaching,situation communication.
