Foster's Ecological Marxist Theory Research

Ecological Marxism is a new-type theoretical system which is different from the previous Traditional Marxism and Western Marxism,its theoretical principle is mainly to combine the basic theory,idea and method of Marx and ecological theory thus to explore the reasons for ecological crisis and routes escaping from the crisis from the institutional aspect,and make institutional criticism on capitalism.Forster is the typical representative in the research field of Ecological Marxism,he reorganizes the materialism of Marx,restructures the theory of "material exchange",criticizes the ecological crisis of capitalism,thinks the solutions for"material exchange" is to eliminate the dissimilation of humans,nature and society,persist in the sustainable road and establish a new society through the ecological socialist revolution thus to solve the ecological crisis.His research enriches the contents of Marxist theory,his research method innovates the method to research the Marxist theory.However,the theory of Forster exists with some limitations,lacks of overall control on Marx’s theory,and routes for ecological revolution.
