Sixty Song People Wrote The Vocabulary Study

The Notes of the Song Dynasty is casual literary notes written by literati.And it reveals the true appearance of language materials with the characteristics of richness,comprehensiveness,authenticity and high degree of colloquialism,preserving rich language and text materials.As the source of corpus,it can not be ignored in modem C hinese studies.At the same time,notes in the Song Dynasty is numerous.They are the coexistence of classical Chinese and verncular Chinese,and the refined and the vulgar with extensive subject matter.Their contents are also heterogeneous,involving the knowledge of the court and commonalty,the laws and regulations,literati anecdotes,the miscellanea of historial facts and local customs.Most record the relevant imperial history in detail,retaining the neglected imperial examination vocabulary in the official history.It reveals that the literature in the Song Dynasty was deeply influenced by the imperial examination system.In the C hinese feudal society,the imperial examination system has a history of more than 1,300 years,founded in the Sui Dynasty,prevalent in the Tang Dynasty,full-fledged in the Song Dynasty,and reached heyday in the Ming and Q ing Dynasty.The imperial examination system has left its imprint in all dynasties.Song Dynasy imperial examination system is most distinctive.because it is in the reform period.Therefore,this paper selects the notes associated with the contents of the imperial examinations from the vast notes of the Song Dynasty as the research object,andakes the comprehensive research methods which are the combination of quantitative and comparative analysis,synchronic description and historical comparisons,morpheme theory and metaphor analysis,the study of the proverb and the cultural interpretation.The vocabulary about imperial examination appearing in the Notes of Song Dynasty is scientifically arranged,classified,induced,deducted and analyzed.This paper has three parts:In the first part,the new imperial examination vocabulary in the Song notes is meticulously described.Taking "C hinese Dictionary" as the reference standard for new words,and regarding words only or first appearing in the Song notes and the words in book certificate and the contemporary literature or slightly later,as the new words,this paper explores the ways and the motivation of new words generation,and then analyzes the characteristics of the new imperial examination vocabulary in the Song notes.In the second part,this paper arranged the old imperial examination vocabulary which has new sememe appearing in the Song notes.With the reference to the introductive example of word-catching and sememe in the "C hinese Dictionary",this paper takes the words first appearing in the Song notes,the words quoted in the contemporary literature and the words appearing in the slightly later book certificate or not collected in the literature as the neologism.From three perspectives,namely extemal causes of society,the internal part of speech change of the language and the extension of meaning,this paper analyzes the motivation of newsememe.In the final part,the imperial examinations vocabulary are systematically classfied by using the semantic field and semantic feature theory of linguistics.From the point of view of lexical meaning,the imperial examination vocabulary are divided into the sub-semantic field of the examinee of imperial examinations,the words belo nging to the place where imperial examinations are held,the imperial examinations words,the words belonging to the imperial examinations list,and the words belonging to the imperial examinations cheat.
