One of the critical problems engineering ethics ought to consider is how to regulate the professional ethics of engineers.This consideration contributes enormously to improve standardization,regulation,and profession of engineer,and enhance the ethical responsibility as well awaken the self principles of engineers.However,in the perspective of macro-engineering,this way of consideration is facing many problems.For instance,whether the original engineering ethics principle can continue,or will it sustainably make moderate adjust when engineering practices encounter with ethical dilemma,and if the engineering ethics system plays a role in the original continuity and influence on engineering community members.All these questions force that it is inevitable for engineering ethics to think from the perspective of macro engineering.At present,our country is a large country in engineering,but not a great power.Although there is no international uniform criterion to measure whether a country is strong in engineering,but from the perspective of soft indicators such as engineering innovation,quality level and humanity,it can be seen that China is on the tough way to a great power in engineering.From the current situation of the overall project,the current engineering activities share the characteristics of large scale,large quantity and long cycle.Although large scale engineering activities promote the national economy and social development and the improvement of people’s living standards,meanwhile they also bring harm or threat to human health and well-being.From final investigation of many appalling engineering accidents,it reveals that not just the small group of engineers hold wrong value orientation,and many more members have narrow understanding of engineering in engineering community.As the "deadly bridge" and "honeycomb" and "unfinished buildings" projects occur frequently,it warns people that it is imminent to put engineering ethical principles and norms into engineering practice under macro engineering perspective.As a new paradigm of engineering ethics,the concept of macro engineering perspective is in fact an engineering model of "integration,refinement and combination".This dissertation summarizes and combs through domestic and foreign articles written by well-known scholars on macro engineering and engineering ethics.Besides,it summarize witih the process of understanding,and also specially reviews engineering ethics problems in China in ancient time,modern time and the period of reform and opening up.This dissertation discusses engineering ethics principles and norms from the perspective of macro engineering in the following procedure.Firstly,it will make reflections on engineering ethics in the perspective of macro engineering.Secondly,it will adopt engineering theory to enrich and improve the engineering ethics principle and the corresponding standard.Finally,it will take a certain area(Yan ’ an city)as an example,and discuss the engineering practice activities,and thus enrich and expand the connotation and extension of engineering ethics.Through the analysis,this dissertation tries to inspect engineering ethics rationally from the macro engineering perspective and utilize macro engineering to form a cognitive standard to engineering ethics principle.And on the basis of the principle,it will make persuasive regulation to engineering multi subjects.At the end,this dissertation attempts to achieve the dual "return" of engineering practice and ethics,and expects to make some innovation in the field of engineering philosophy and engineering ethics.
