As an important part of contemporary Chinese language,prepositions have always been one of the most im portant aspects in teaching Chinese as a second lan guage.The preposition "you" has more com plicated syntactic and se mantic functions which m eans it was m ore difficult to teaching th an other pre positions.This paper w as based on the HSK corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University and also,the corpus of Jinan University.This paper analyzes the common types of errors and the causes of these errors.Based on these errors,we put forward three suggestions and designed the corresponding teaching methods.We hope this paper could be helpful for the majority of teachers and learners.The full paper has four parts:The first part is the introduction,include three parts.The first one was the research of other scholars.The second one was the work of writing this paper.Including the research scope and the research m ethod,The third part was the source of the corpus and the innovations.The second part is the syntactic and semantic of the p reposition "you".Including the meaning of the prepo sition "you" and "you " sentence.We had learned the study of predecessors,it is truly helpful for our following error analysis.The third part is the preposition "you" error type analysis.There are four error categories: misplacement error,misuse error,omission error and misplaced error.The fourth part is the an alysis of the causes of these errors.The teaching suggestion and our corresponding teaching design.We believe that the main causes of these errors including "negative transfer of mother tongue" "negative transfer of target language" and "the teachers’ own problems" three categories.In this paper,we put forward the three suggestions of how to teach ing the prepositions "you".At the same tim e,we also designed the corresponding teaching links.
