In this paper, the writer has made a survey and research on Chinese character learning strategies of 40 Philippine students in the initial stage, attempted to reveal the learning features of Philippine students for Chinese characters, examined their usage of various Chinese learning strategies, combined students Chinese characters learning level to analyze the effectiveness of these learning strategies. At same time the writer interviewed 4 students. Through interviewing 4 students and recording all the interviews, from materials to identify the different selection of learning strategies between excellent and not good at study Chinese Characters learner and the effectiveness of their characters learning. Finally in this paper can help more Chinese teachers to guide students use effective learning strategies and establish the best mode of teaching Chinese characters. |
