| Currently,duets between viola and piano are a few in China, this thesis will take th e composer Luoyi's “Fantasia" as an example to analyze the characteristics of music a nd the methods of cooperation.This paper firstly conduct a research on dominant motivation, melody structure, rh ythm and tempo, harmony and mode to conclude the music characteristics of the work.On the basis of combination with performers' own performance practice, they can find the right performance styles and methods for deeper performance analysis. Through the analysis of difficulties between the cooperation of two instruments,this t hesis explains performance styles of freedom,mystery,passion and boldness, and it is a traditional Chinese style chamber-music ingeniously merges national and folk musi c with modern composing techniques. The author hopes that this thesis will be helpful for the future study and practice to students, and provide theoretical support for the p erformance and teaching of this work of this kinds in order to help students and teach ers to learn more about Chinese contemporary music works. |
