Schumann is one of the famous and representative musicians in the Romantic period.Among his numerous Chamber Music works,Fantasia Op.73 was created for clarinet and piano performance,undoubtedly a shining pear.This work is consists of three short pieces and written in the mature period of Schumann.In this thesis,it studied and discussed Schumann's Fantasy Op.73 from the perspective of musical form,performance skills,music processing and etc.There are four chapters in this paper.The first chapter is an introduction of the composer and his works.Chapters 2,3 and 4 analyze the one movement respectively,and one movement can be divided into two sections.In the first section,the musical form and structure of the movement are analyzed,and the changes of tonality,harmony and texture are discussed accordingly.The second section studies the performance skills and music processing of it.Through the analysis of melody lines,fingering,piano cooperation and emotional changes,the author combines his own performance and learning experience to provide a reference for other performers.
