| This study focuses on the psychological characteristics of left-behind children, Selecting 700 students as objects from Lingduozhen primary school, Tainan primary school, hongyan school(nine years), Lingduozhen middle school, Lingduozhen tainan middle school in Jiangsu rural area, with the method of questionnaire survey to collect the data of left-behind children’s parents upbringing, moral disengagement and mental health.Then using the data analysis software SPSS 17.0 to analyse the data which collected.The study was to discusses the relationship between parents upbringing, moral disengagement and mental health of left-behind children.The main results are as follows:1. left-behind children felt more requirements from the family than non left-behind children; left-behind girls felt less requirements from the family elders than the left-behind boys.2. left-behind children’s moral disengagement was significantly higher than the average level of non left-behind children, mainly in "the proportion of recognition of light", "shifting of responsibility", "diffusion of responsibility" and "the twist" four dimensions; left-behind boys moral disengagement level was higher than that of left behind girls.3.left-behind children’s mental health was lower than non left-behind children, the difference was mainly reflected in the study pressure, bad adaptation, emotion and the psychological four aspects; parents and children left behind, contact and meet frequency can affect the level of mental health of the children in a great extent. This difference is especially shown in the balance of the left behind children’s depression and emotional balance.4.The degree of the care for the left-behind children from family elders has a significant negative correlation with each factors of moral disengagement.5.The degree of the care for the left-behind children from family elders has a significant negative correlation with each factors of mental health.6.Each factors of left-behind children’s moral disengagement has a significant positive correlation with each factor of mental health level. |
