Although the absolute amounts of modal adverbs are not many, its functions are complex and diverse. Range usage and high frequency make it become more difficult in Chinese parts of speech. Because of modal adverbs to express human emotions and attitudes, also similar words in semantic and usage, make students often appear errors when using this kind of words. So this kind of words becomes difficult in foreign students'study.Based on the predecessors'research results and the situation of the foreign students to use these words, the author selects the category of "Bijing" modal adverbs, including "Bijing", "Daodi" and "Jiujing" three words. Using modern Chinese corpus and HSK dynamic composition corpus to analyse statistics, author compares the foreign students'statistics with the native speakers', found that foreign students using these three words'frequencies are more than native speakers', namely when foreign students using those three words exists the phenomenon of excessive use of those words. Based on the analysis, found that the errors of "Bijing", "Daodi" and "Jiujing" have following characteristics:first, the error rate of error generation in the three words is relatively high, the following is wrong error. Second the main errors of "Daodi" are wrong order and error generation, while the main errors of "Bijing" and "Jiujing" are error generation and omission. And the author analyses carefully the four types of errors of each word.On the basis of analysis of the errors from negative transfer of mother tongue, negative transfer of the target language, teaching materials and teaching, the author discusses the reasons of those errors.
