Interpersonal relationship increasingly occupies an important role in our daily life. Successfully resolving both internal and interpersonal conflicts between individuals can help individuals to improve the mental health of individuals. Positive psychology has proven that forgiveness is one of 24 individual positive qualities important for individuals. Self-forgiveness possesses both individual and interpersonal characteristics, therefore self-forgiveness intervention will be more conducive towards interpersonal harmony and enhance the relationship between the level of individual mental health. Self-esteem is an important individual psychological quality, and also embodies self-appraisal. According to the Western research, its relationship with self-forgiveness has been confirmed by a number of studies, but in China it has not reached a consensus yet. By combing the literature found, little research on the conciliatory behavior has been done. The structure of it, the influencing factors as well as possible impact on other variables are still lack of discussion.Therefore, this study analyzes the relationship and the influence paths among self-esteem, conciliatory behavior and self-forgiveness, trying to establish a Mediator model with 3 variables. Institute obtained the following conclusions:(1) Conciliatory behavior includes two dimensions: conciliatory behavior towards victims, conciliatory behavior towards collectivity. (2) In the study, subjects' self-esteem, self-forgiveness level belong to the middle, and there was no significant difference in gender and education levels. (3) Subjects' conciliatory behavior has no significant gender differences. There are significant differences in the level of education. Compared to college students, postgraduates are easier to have conciliatory behavior. (4) Self-esteem and conciliatory behavior are effectively related to self-forgiveness. Positive self-esteem not only directly influences the self-forgiveness, but also indirectly positively effect the self-forgiveness through the conciliatory behavior towards collectivity; negative self-esteem not only directly influences the self-forgiveness, but also indirectly positively effect the self-forgiveness through the conciliatory behavior towards collectivity; conciliatory behavior towards victims indirectly positively effect self-forgiveness through the conciliatory behavior collective; positive self-esteem and negative self-esteem both directly positively effect the conciliatory behavior. (5) Conciliatory behavior towards collectivity is the mediation between self-esteem and self-forgiveness. Conciliatory behavior towards victims has significant chain mediating effect between self-esteem and self forgiveness.
