The main members of Referral pronouns are "Renjia", "Ren", "Bieren", "Pangren" and "Taren". Every Referral pronoun is not alone in pragmatic, which forms a relation with a person or an object, and the relation attribute is the obvious character of Referral pronouns. This paper reveals the pragmatic function of Referral pronouns from the perspective of referential function, cognitive emotion function, communication function and discourse function. From the aspect of reference, "Renjia", "Ren", "Bieren" and "Taren" all have the function of referring to the third person or object, which is the most important referential function of "Renjia". The examples of "Pangren" referring to the third person or object are less relatively, but its examples of referring to "you" are more than other four Referral pronouns. The function of generic reference is the most important referential function of "Ren", "Bieren" "Pangren" and "Taren". "Renjia", "Ren", "Bieren" and "Pangren" all have the function of referring to "I", but "Taren" doesn't have this function. From the cognitive emotion aspect, the opposite function of "inner" and "outer" is the most universal function of Referral pronouns, which is shared by "Renjia", "Ren", "Bieren" and "Pangren". The excursion function is the common cognitive emotion function of "Renjia", "Ren" and "Bieren", and this function emphasizes the speaker sides with the referent or the corresponding person or object in the aspect of cognitive emotion. "Renjia" and "Ren" both have the contrastive function. Besides, "Ren" has the exclusive function, which pushes forward that the speaker stresses one situation exists without exception. The cognitive dim function of "Ren" pushes forward that the speaker is not sure of the referent's identity. Only "Bieren" has the selective and replaceable function, which stresses the referent and the corresponding person or object can be chosen or replaced by each other in the speaker's cognition. In addition, "Pangren" has the primary and secondary function. "Taren" just has "not-oneself" function. From the aspect of the communication, the information transferring function is an important function of "Renjia" and "Ren". The speaker uses the referential vagueness of "Renjia" and "Ren" to transfer the focus of information from the "figure" to other aspects in discourse. Besides, "Renjia" and "Ren" have the persuading function and the euphemistic function. "Pangren "and "Taren " both have the lateral contrasting function, if the speaker shows the position or viewpoint toward the "Pangren" and "Taren" in discourse, the speaker's position or viewpoint toward the corresponding person or object can be indicated laterally. "Bieren" just has the reverse denial function, the speaker denies "Bieren", which equals to affirm "Un-bieren", and the speaker affirms "Bieren", which equals to deny "Un-bieren". In addition, "Renjia" has the information relevance function peculiarly, if the speaker provides the information about "Renjia" in discourse, the information about the corresponding person or object can be implied. From the aspect of the discourse, Referral pronouns have two main functions: the echoing function and the vocabulary cohesion function. In the aspect of the echoing function, the corresponding echoing is the common function of five Referral pronouns. However, "Renjia" and "Ren" have the echoing function which is analogous to "Person" and the demonstrative function. From the aspect of vocabulary cohesion function, the "General noun" function is the main cohesion function of every Referral pronoun.
