According to the existing research, this paper explored parent-child relationship, self-acceptance and opposite-sex communication’relationships through the way of questionnaire survey, related and regression analysis,ect. The paper did two major works:The first part of this paper, the College Students Opposite Sex Commication Questionnaire was designed by means of open questionnaire test, interview, item analysis, exploratory factor and confirmatory factor analysis, etc. The participants were 644 college students from Nan Jing, Nan Tong and An Qing. The second part studied the relationship of parent-child relationship, self-acceptance and opposite-sex commication by means of questionnaire survey. The participants were 812 college students from Nan Jing, Yan Cheng, Yang Zhou and Nan Tong. The following conclusions are drawn in this thesis:(1) The College Students Opposite Sex Commication Questionnaire which was designed had 5 dimensions (confusion, intimacy, initiative, extensive, efficacy) and 29 items. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were both good.(2) The score of parent-child relationship for female college students were higher than male students, liberal arts students were better than science students, class leaders were better than other general students. Students from country were better than that from city as for parent-child relationship. And only children are better than non-only children.(3) Freshman students’self-assessment were significantly higher than sophomore students. Class leaders’self-acceptance were significantly higher than other general students. Students from country were better than that from city as for self-acceptance. Students which are being in love or have love experiences before were better than those who had no love experience as for their self-acceptance.(4) In terms of opposite-sex communication of college students, liberal arts students were better than science students. Class leaders’ opposite-sex communication score were significantly higher than other general students. Students from country were better than that from city and only children are better than non-only children. Students who are being in love or have love experiences before had better score than those who have no love experience.(5) Significantly positive correlation existed between father-child relationship, mother-child relationship with self-acceptance and self-assessment. Both father-child relationship and mother-child relationship could positively predict college students’ self-acceptance and self-assessment level.(6) The relationship with their parents had negative correlation and could negatively predict the confusion of college students’opposite-sex commication. But they had positive correlation and could positively predict the intimacy, initiative, extensive and efficacy of opposite-sex commication.(7) The level of college students’ self-acceptance and self-assessment had negative relationship and could negatively predict their confusion of opposite-sex communication. As to intimacy, initiative, extensive and efficacy, the relationship and calculate were positive.(8) The self-acceptance of college students had partial mediating effect between their parents-child relationship and opposite sex communication. |
