"Boya Chinese" (Intermediate Sprint I) The Seventh Lesson "Playing Chinese" Teaching Design

Nowadays, with the development of china's comprehensive national strength and the rising international status, the numbers of people who come to china for work, study or travel are increased, especially, there are more and more foreigners would love to come to learn Chinese. The teacher who teaches Chinese to speakers of other languages becomes an important link of cultural exchanges. Therefore,Teachers who want to prepare a successful class need a specific, targeted, scientific teaching designs.This paper mainly based on the Lesson 7 Talk about the Chinese in a Humorous Way of Boya Chinese(Intermediate Level Sprint I). The Boya Chinese is written by Li Xiaoqi and Zhao Yanfeng and the text is used for intermediate Chinese learners`comprehensive lesson. This teaching design mainly introduces the teaching theory and teaching process. On the premise of student-centered teaching mode, this teaching design adhere to the pedagogy and use varied kinds of teaching methods, such as the situational approach, the sentence or phrase method, the inductive method and so on.This teaching design combined with the teaching of words, texts and practice. The important parts are to teach words and text, and also use the teaching of grammar and the practice to provide an interface for teachers to design this class. Though this teaching design, we hope that it can offer some now thoughts and reference for teachers who teach Chinese to speakers of other languages.
