Quine and Wittgenstein,two great philosophers and linguists in the 20 th century,have played a significant role in their own fields. Their logic of language is analyzed and expounded in the thesis. On the one hand,the thesis approaches meaning and referent and view of language of naturalism and behaviorism theory of meaning from a viewpoint of Quine. On the other hand,the thesis make a summary of the relation between language and world and picture theory in early Wittgenstein’s view of language.In the dimension of philosophy of language,this thesis aims to seek its interaction by exploring main content in philosophy of language of Quine and Wittgenstein.
