Nowadays, humans are increasingly dependent on the resources of the earth and continue to reclaim more and moreto satisfy their needs. This led us to a series of environmental problems, such as climate warming, ocean pollution and so on.What is more ironic is that the consumption of nature by the human activities in order to develop and upgrade the living standards for our own survival. And any change that is accompanied by the ecological system is likely to affect the ecological environment of the whole earth, and ultimately affect the living environment of human beings."The destruction of nature by man" has always been a concern to me.In this graduation painting creation,I chose to depict a nickel mine and to obtaina non natural landscape. Then I have to think on how to use the logic and techniques of painting to show my idea.My goal is to make people think about some actual problems like ecological problems,I think that is the value of a contemporary artist. In ancient times there was no nickel mine because it was a farming society,so my question is:how a contemporary painter find its place in the modern industrial society and which painting language will he use to show this kind of non natural landscape?...
