The philosophy of music education aims at exploring the nature and value of musiceducation. It could provide strong theoretical support for the teaching of basic music disciplines.The aesthetic philosophy and the philosophy of reflective practice are two leading philosophicalthoughts. Therefore, the study of teaching paradigm is the study of teaching methods andteaching pattern, which is based on the two thoughts. And its value orientation is to establishteaching paradigm.The course of Solfeggio is a fundamental discipline in music education. By the means ofthe technical training of singing, listening and reciting, it aimed at making the student get theability of distinguishing and analyzing the length and the pitch of the sound, interval, chord,rhythm and melody. It enhances the basis of the further study of harmony, tune, tonality, textureand musical form, so as to guarantee the progress of students' musical quality, musical aestheticand practical ability. Therefore, the course of Solfeggio is of great importance. It is of greatsignificance to study and discuss the use of aesthetic teaching paradigm and practice teachingparadigm in the course of Solfeggio.However, through the analyses of the traditional teaching mode of Solfeggio, the authorbelieves that the traditional single teaching mode hinder seriously the development of solfeggioteaching. The weighing of solfa and fixed roll-call, and the evaluation system of single courseand the other issues are plaguing the the Solfeggio teaching. The teaching process is aninteraction between teachers and students by the media of text book. The good teaching effectswould not achieve because of the lack of interaction. These would make the teacher solely payattention to the listening, singing and memorizing the hymn, while ignoring the overalldevelopment of musical aesthetic and practical ability of students.Through the above analyses and the teaching experiences in recent years, the authorproposes the idea of apply the aesthetic paradigm and practice paradigm in the couese ofSolfeggio. The Solfeggio teaching paradigm is build under the theoretical framework with thetheoretical model and practical framework. In building the aesthetic teaching paradigm andpractice paradigm of Solfeggio, what should be avoided is that only putting emphasize on oneparadigm. The two paradigms should be combined to enhance the development of Solfeggio. Asa teacher of Solfeggio, the author expects to make a little contribution to China's musiceducation and the further study of the Solfeggio teaching paradigm.
