The Clinical Efficacy Of Treating The Hyperplasia Of Mammary Glands From The Foot And The Liver

ObjectiveMammary Gland Hyperplasia is known as the most common disease among women nowadays.Meanwhile,the excellence of acupuncture therapy in treating Mammary Gland Hyperplasia has been proven.And this research is conducted to discover better solution for Mammary Gland Hyperplasia in terms of both syndromes and symptoms.MethodSample sizes of 30 Mammary Gland Hyperplasia patients are selected with certified diagnosis.The patients get stainless steel needles,the size of 0.2×40mm at Taichong(LR3),Ququan(LR8),Jimai(LR12),Qimen(LR13)the Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin,and Neiguan(PC6),Tianchi(PCI)of the Pericardium Meridian of Hand-Jueyin,as well as Danzhong(RN17)nearby.The needles are to be retained for 20 minutes.Patients are treated two times a week for eight weeks,so they get sixteen times of treatment in total.The statistics are assessed before and after the therapy,and the measurements are recorded on relevant checklist.The result of the treatments are compared,and analyzed in order to evaluate the curative effacement of using this method.ResultAfter 8 weeks of treatment,the total curative rate is 80%.The breast syndromes total score has decreased from 30.67±7.63 to 15.60±4.69,which was noticeable change(P<0.01).The body syndromes total score has changed from 16.00±5.69 to 9.80±5.43,which was markedly lower than initial state(P<0.01).The syndromes total score has decreased from 46.67±11.18 to 25.40±7.21,which was noticeable change(P<0.01).The size of the lesion has reach the level of curative as 76.79%.The SDS score has decreased from 38.97±9.12 to 34.40±7.10,which was noticeable change(P<0.01).The SAS score has changed from 37.53±7.34 to 31.80±5.76,which was markedly lower than initial state(P<0.01).No side effects from this experiment were observed.ConclusionAt Taichong(LR3),Ququan(LR8),Jimai(LR12),Qimen(LR13)of the Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin,and Neiguan(PC6),Tianchi(PC1)of the Pericardium Meridian of Hand-Jueyin,as well as Danzhong(RN17)nearby,the acupuncture were given.The improvement takes the Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin as the theoretical therapy has been proven to be effective.Therefore,it is viewed that the this therapy can be a better one for treating Mammary Gland Hyperplasia in clinical trial.
