As a material basis for disease prevention and treatment,traditional Chinese medicine has a self-evident importance.But Chinese medicines is not only a drug,but also commodities in market circulation.It must conform to the rule of "classification according to the quality,priced on different brackets".However,the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015 did not specify the specifications of Chinese herbal medicines.The current standard for 76 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines is formulated in 1984,and it has gradually lost the role of standardization and guidance.The classification is not clear in the market now,and the problem of quality and price confusion is becoming increasingly prominent.Take Magnolia officinalis as an example,the original standard divided Magnolia officinalis into 5 specifications and 12 grades,which is complicated and difficult to implement.Through literature and market research,there are only two kinds of Magnolia officinalis,common one and selected one.The quality of Magnolia officinalis is uneven due to natural and artificial factors such as difference in origin,age,peeling and processing.Therefore,taking Magnolia officinalis as the carrier to investigate the necessary of establish a secitific and useful standard is reasonable and meaningful.In this study,planting and marketing status of Magnolia officinalis is investigated.Samples are collected and divided according to the original standard in order to discuss the rationality.And then,HPLC and GC are used to detect the content of magnolol,honokiol and?-eudesmol.Thickness is measured using vernier caliper.Through clustering analysis,the quantitative index and its scope are determined,and put forward a new classification standard.Using electronic nose to analyze the odor of samples,and establish the best pattern recognition model of different grade of Magnolia officinalis.The multiple linear regression equation is established:Y=-12.942-110.934*S2+76.977*S3+38.168*S5+76.846*S10-62.063*S11After those investigation of Magnolia officinalis,it is suggested that the thickness and phenol content should be used as the quantitative index of appearance and inner quality respectively,and a new standard to classify the commercial specifications of Magnolia officinalis is established.The best condition to determine the odor information of Magnolia officinalis was determined by electronic nose.Discriminant factor analysis(DFA)was used to analyze a large number of data obtained from electronic nose,and DFA discriminant models of different specifications and different grades were established.Through the correlation analysis of the phenol content and the response value,the sensor array is optimized,and the sensor S2,S3,S5,S10 and S11 which are significantly related are screened.The multiple linear regression equation is established.
