Based On Data Mining, Professor Tang Qisheng's Experience In Treating Schizophrenia

Background:The academic experience of National TCM masters are the representatives of academic development and inheritance in the field of Chinese medicine.The conclusion and inheritance of the academic experience of National TCM masters is of great significance to the training of the follow-up talents of traditional Chinese medicine and the advancement of the academic progress of traditional Chinese medicine.Data mining technology based on mathematical methods plays an important role in the research field of National TCM masters experience inheritance.At present,the application of data mining technology in the transmission of National TCM masters experience has been increasing,which has provided some help in summarizing and inheriting the experience of National TCM masters.Objective:Based on the retrospective analysis of clinical cases of schizophrenia treated by Professor Tang qisheng,the data mining methods of cluster analysis and association rule analysis were used to sum up the basic prescription and drug compatibility experience of Professor Tang qisheng in the treatment of schizophrenia and attempted to understand his basic ideas for the treatment of schizophrenia and inherit his clinical experience.It also provides scientific basis for clinical prevention and treatment of schizophrenia and the inheritance of National TCM masters experience.Method:This study collected 135 cases of schizophrenia,a total of 387 Chinese herbal prescriptions.Pre-processed data,built the database,analyzed the data and extracted the law by using the frequency analysis,cluster analysis and association rule of SPSS 20.0 and SPSS Modeler 18.Then summarized the law of clinical experience in dealing with the schizophrenia.Result:1.There were 56 males(41.5%)and 79 females(58.5%)in 135 patients with schizophrenia,the female patients were the most,the ratio of male to female was 1:1.4,the youngest was 12 years old,the maximum 87 years old,the average age was 32.7 years old.2.A total of 112 herbs were prescribed in 167 cases of schizophrenia with positive symptoms.We found that the herbs with the frequency over 30%included:Lapis Chloriti,Polygala,Sweetflag,Fritillary Bulb,Gastrodia Elata,Acanthopanax senticosus,Fluoritum,Gardenia,Lotus Germ,Magnetitum,Galli Gigeriae Endothelium Corneum,Coptis chinensis,Dens Draconis,Curcuma Longa,Radix Scrophulariae,Bupleurum,Concha Margaritifera,Fushen,Red Peony Root,Cortex Moutan,Fructus Trichosanthis,Gentian,Peach Kernel,Raw Keel,Raw Oyster,Yam.A total of 125 herbs were prescribed in 220 cases of schizophrenia with negative symptoms.We found that the herbs with the frequency over 25%included:Lapis Chloriti,Acanthopanax Senticosus,Gastrodia Elata,Polygala,Sweetflag,Fritillary Bulb,Gardenia,Cornus Officinalis,Schisandra Chinensis,Galli Gigeriae Endothelium Corneum,Bupleurum,White Peony Root,Yam,Morinda Officinalis,Cistanche,Caulis Polygoni Multiflori,Fushen,Spine Date Seed,Albizia,Rhizoma Polygonatum,Red Common Stonecrop,Herb Rhodiola,Bergamot,Peach Kernel,Villous Amomum.3.Applying the association rules of data mining methods,and combining with the clinical experience of Professor Tang,the core of prescription in dealing with the schizophrenia with positive symptoms were extracted,which is Lapis Chloriti 30g,Poly gala 20g,Sweetflag 30g,Fritillary Bulb 15g,Gastrodia Elata 20g,Acanthopanax senticosus 30g,Fluoritum 30g,Gardenia 15g,Lotus Germ 6g,Galli Gigeriae Endothelium Corneum 15g.To treat the core prescriptions of schizophrenia with negative symptoms,which is Lapis Chloriti 15g,Acanthopanax senticosus 60g,Gastrodia Elata 20g,Polygala 15g,Sweetflag 15g,Fritillary Bulb 15g,Gardenia 15g,Cornus Officinalis 15g,Schisandra Chinensis 15g,Galli Gigeriae Endothelium Corneum 15g.4.Using the Apriori algorithm in association analysis to dig 168 medical examinations and 220 medical examination prescriptions,combined with Chinese medicine theory,obtained Professor Tang's treatment of schizophrenia with positive symptoms mainly used medicinal compatibility:Poly gala-Sweetflag,Polygala-Fritillary Bulb,Polygala-Gastrodia Elata,Lotus Germ-Coptis chinensis,Red Peony Root-Cortex Moutan,Fructus Trichosanthis-Gentian,Curcuma Longa-Sweetflag,Gastrodia Elata-Acanthopanax Senticosus,Coptis Chinensis-Lotus Germ,Polygala-Sweetflag-Gastrodia Elata,Polygala-Sweetflag-Gastrodia Elata-Fritillary Bulb.etc.We obtained Professor Tang's treatment of schizophrenia with negative symptoms mainly used medicinal compatibility:Gastrodia Elata-Acanthopanax senticosus,Polygala-Gastrodia Elata,Gastrodia Elata-Sweetflag,Polygala-Sweetflag,Sweetflag-Fritillary Bulb,Acanthopanax senticosus-Cornus Officinalis,Bupleurum-White Peony Root,Cornus Officinalis-Schisandra Chinensis,Morinda Officinalis-Cistanche,Acanthopanax Senticosus-Gastrodia Elata-Polygala,Acanthopanax Senticosus-Gastrodia Elata-Sweetflag,Gastrodia Elata-Polygala-Sweetflag,Acanthopanax Senticosus-Cornus Officinalis-Schisandra Chinensis and others.Conclusion:1.In this study,association rules and cluster analysis were used to explore Professor Tang qisheng's experience in the treatment of schizophrenia.It is preliminarily concluded that Professor Tang qisheng's treatment principle is different according to the difference between positive and negative symptoms in the treatment of schizophrenia.2.Professor Tang qisheng takes clearing away heat and removing phlegm as the treatment method in the treatment of schizophrenia with positive symptoms.He also gives consideration to clearing away heart fire,clearing away dampness and heat,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis according to the clinical manifestations.His treatment of schizophrenia with negative symptoms mainly focuses on different stages of the disease.The treatment of acute stage is to treat depression and phlegm,and to benefit kidney and replenish essence.Treatment of chronic stage is based on tonifying kidney and replenishing essence,and according to the clinical manifestations,gu wenbu mingmen and jianyun spleen and stomach were used at the same time.It has the effects of dispelling phlegm,calming the mind,storing the kidney,strengthening the spleen and stomach,and harmonizing qi and blood of zang-fu organs,then schizophrenia gradually recovers.
