The Incidence, Influencing Factors And TCM Syndrome Distribution Of Lung Cancer Due To Sexual Fatigue

Purpose:To investigate the incidence and related factors of cancer-related fatigue(CRF)in lung cancer.Explore the relationship of TCM Syndromes and CRF in lung cancer patients.Material and Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study of simple random sampling.The subjects were the lung cancer patients in the outpatient and ward of the oncology department of Guang’anmen Hospital of Chinese Academy of Chinese medicine.The general situation questionnaire,the Piper fatigue scale(PFS),TCM symptom scale(adapted from Guiding principles of clinical research on new drugs of traditional Chinese Medicine),TCM Syndrome Scale(from Guidelines of Diagnosis and Therapy in Oncology and Traditional Chinese Medicine)were used.The TCM syndrome was also investigated under the supervision of superior doctors.Results:1.Inclusion status and distribution of fatigue:A total of 210 cases of patients with lung cancer were investigated.There were 124 cases(59.0%)of mild fatigue,48 cases(22.9%)of moderate fatigue,and 38 cases(18.1%)of severe fatigue.A total 86 cases(41.0%)experienced moderate or above degree of fatigue and can be diagnosed with CRF.2.The score of behavioral/severity,the score of affective meaning and the score of congnitive/mood of patients with severe fatigue was all 7.00,higher than the patients with moderate fatigue that was 5.00.The score of sensory of patients with severe fatigue was 8.00 higher than the patiens with moderate fatigue that was 6.00.P<0.05.3.Correlation analysis of cancer related fatigue and TCM syndrome:Yin deficiency syndrome,blood stasis syndrome and spleen/stomach are the related factors of cancer related fatigue.Yang deficiency syndrome is the related factor of the aggravation of cancer related fatigue.The syndromes such as blood deficiency,Yang deficiency,heart/intestine and lung/intestine have an influence on the total score of PFS and all dimensions.Qi deficiency and kidney/bladder affect the behavior/severity,affective meaning,cognition/mood and the total score of the piper fatigue scale.Phlegm dampness syndrome affects the total score of affective meaning,sensory and total scale of the piper fatigue scale.The yin deficiency syndrome only has an influence on the sensory dimension.The combination of qi deficiency + Yin deficiency + phlegm dampness + blood stasis is the most common syndromes in patients experienced CRF.And the most common disease position elements is liver + heart + spleen + lung,liver + heart + lung.Conclusion:1.With fatigue aggravating,the damage of behavior/severity,affective meaning,sensory,congnitive/mood will increase.2.Yin deficiency syndrome,blood stasis syndrome and spleen/stomach are related factors of CRF.Yang deficiency is a related factor of aggravated CRF.The syndromes such as blood deficiency,Yang deficiency,heart/small intestine,lung/large intestine affect the total score of Piper scale and all dimensions.Qi deficiency and kidney/ladder affect the score of behavior/severity,sensory,congnitive/mood and the total score of PFS.Phlegm dampness syndrome affects the score of affective meaning,sensory and total scale.The yin deficiency syndrome only has an influence on the sensory dimension.
