Clinical Study On Treatment Of Hyperthyroidism With Liver Depression And Blood Stasis By Soothing Liver And Promoting Blood Circulation

Object:Through observing the clinical symptoms,signs and chemical indexes of patients with primary hyperthyroidism,which were treated by dispersing liver and promoting blood circulation,to evaluate the therapeutic effect and clinical significance.Method:The research subjects are 50 patients from out-patient and in-patient department,which are diagnosed hyperthyroidism with the syndromes of stagnancy of liver and blood.We divide these patients randomly into 2 groups with 25 cases in treatment group and 25 cases in control group.The treatment group was treated with basic therapy and the Chinese medicine with the effect of dispersing liver and zromoting blood circulation,and the control group was treated with basic treatment only.The course of treatment is 8 weeks,during the course we should observe the clinical symptoms,signs,and related physical and chemical examination and record the case report form.Data will be used to establish the database,using SPSS21.0 software for statistical analysis.Then Comparing the two groups before and after treatment of symptoms,signs,thyroid function and TCM syndrome score to assess the clinical efficacy.Results:(1)Comparison of the effect of TCM syndrome:The effective rate of TCM symptoms in treatment group was 92%,while 80%in control group,The difference between the two groups has significance of statistics(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of major symptom improvement:Symptoms of the two groups were significantly improved after treatment,particularly comparison on dysphoria and passionate,fullness in chest and hypochondrium,palpitation,hypodynamia and hyperidrosis have significance of statistics(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of thyroid function improvement:after the treatment both group the FT3 and FT4 decreased and TSH increased,The difference between the two groups has no significance of statistics(P>0.05).(4)Comparison of thyroid enlargement improvement:after the treatment the thyroid enlargement in the treatment group had obviously improved and the difference has significance of statistics(P<0.05),while the thyroid enlargement in the control group had no changement.(5)Comparison of safety:after the treatment in the treatment group,there were 1 case of abnormal liver function and 1 case of WBC reduced,while in the control group,there were 2 case of abnormal liver function and 3 case of WBC reduced,The difference between the two groups has no significance of statistics(P>0.05)?Conclusions:(1)The method of Using the Chinese medicine with the effect of d ispersing liver and promoting blood circulation combined with western medicine in the treatment of hyperthyroidism is better than western medicine alone?(2)The method of Using the Chinese medicine with the effect of dispersing liver and promoting blood circulation has more advantages in improving the symptom of dysphoria and passion ate,fullness in chest and hypochondrium,palpitation,hypodynamia and hyperidrosis,while there is no advantage in improving thyroid function and side effects.
