Preliminary Study On The Rule Of Treatment Of Alopecia Areata In Traditional Chinese Medicine

Alopecia areata is one of the most common dermatoses,and now that may be associated with some factors of autoimmunity,heredity,endocrine disorders,emotional stimulation and others,Inflammatory cells especially Th often infiltrate the hair follicle around alopecia areata in early phase or progress and regeneration.It could influence patient's appearance and quality of life with lots of negative emotions and stress.Alopecia areata has diversification therapies with modern medicine,some patients are effective for glucocorticoid,and taking cystine,vitamins,the topical use of minoxidil solution and blocking therapy,transplantation therapy can also be selected,but the effect of those treatments is not Satisfactory,some treatment methods have much more side effects,too.Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history to treat this disease through internal and external treatments with clear effect,litter toxic side effects and it' s easy to accept.The clinical researches of alopecia areata are emerge in endlessly,in recent years,,this article counted and analyzed the data through searching literatures of internal therapies with Chinese medicine for alopecia areata to explore the rules of treatments with Chinese medicine.This article includes three parts literature review,tutor' s experience introduction of pelada and literature research.There are two pieces of literature review,witch discusses pelada' s research progress of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine roundly and systematically.The first is the general research situation of Chinese medicine for alopecia areata,including ancient documents' general situation about the names of the disease,symptoms,etiology and pathogenesis,therapeutic principle and both internal and external treatments,modern famous doctors' experience in the treatment of alopecia areata,and the summary for Chinese medicine of alopecia areata about the etiology and pathogenesis and treatments in recent years.The second is the research progress of modern medicine for alopecia areata,including the epidemiological study,etiology and pathogenesis and diagnosis and treat.The article summarized my graduate student mentor,s experience of this disease on the etiology and pathogenesis,Syndrome differentiation type,the characteristics to use traditional Chinese medicine and treatments.Through retrieved literatures about Chinese medicine taken orally to cure alopecia areata,witch have published in Wanfang data,China Knowledge Network Library(CNKI),Weipu database(VIP),Chinese biomedical Database(CBM)from January 1,2001 to December 31,2016,collected the appeared traditional Chinese medicine formulas in those literature and established database with Microsoft Excel2013 to count and analyze their categories,nature and flavor,and channel tropism of Chinese medicine Results a total of 39 eligible literatures were retrieved and 45 prescriptions 81 Chinese medicine involved in 4069 cases(1827 female patients,percentage is 44.96%,2238 males,percentage is 55.06%),and the totally cumulative frequency was 487 and 22337 person-times.The highest frequency kinds of the herbs in the ten are:Polygonum multiflorum,Angelica,Rehmannia glutinosa,Chuanxiong,licorice,dodder,Poria,white peony,Ligustrum lucidum,medlar.Exterior-releasing medicinal,tonifying medicinal,blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicinal are ranked the top three,calm medicinal is topped the list by four nature of drugs pungent,sweet and bitter are ranked among the top three by five flavours,twelve channels tropism involved but the liver channel,the kidney channel and the spleen channel are most often appearing according to the total herb number of Chinese medicine,the frequency and the person-times.Conclusion:The modern doctors of Chinese medicine are much more to think that liver,spleen and kidney are the main viscera lesions of alopecia areata and the treatment should be based on the basic theory of Chinese medicine as a guide,combined with the actual situation of syndrome differentiation.There are four main types syndromes named blood deficiency and wind dryness,insufficiency of liver and kidney essence and blood,qi stagnation and blood stasis and qi-blood deficiency,alopecia areata' s treatment focus on nourishing liver and kidney,supplemente by blood-activating and stasis-resolving,tonifying and wind-displiiing,and taking care of spleen and stomach is necessary for long-term medication.Exterior-releasing medicinal,calm medicinal,sweet bitter,pungent,are used frequently,and the herbs mainly belong to the liver channel,the spleen channel,and the kidney channel.
