A Summary Of The Treatment Of 700 Cases Of Postherpetic Neuralgia And The Influencing Factors Of Curative Effect

OBJECTIVE:To summarize the experience in treatment of PHN in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine department of dermatology,and to provide methods and reference for clinical treatment.Studying the risk factors which will influence the therapeutic effect of PHN.METHODS:Collecting the discharged patient's medical records,A total of 700 cases met the inclusion criteria from January 2010 to November 2015,then analyze the methods of treatment and the therapy effect in our department.Among of the 700 patients,371 of them were cured,329 patients improved,0 patients were ineffective,the patients were divided into recovery and improvement according to the results of treatment,the research indicators include:? gender,? age,? early antiviral treatment,?location of the diseases,?onset seasons,?with underlying disease.Data were tabulated and analyzed with SPSS 16.0 software.RESULTS:Based on the analysis of the treatment methods and the results of the treatment of this 700 patients,after our systematic treatment,the pain symptoms was relieved obviously,many patients were cured finally,and use our therapy the pain relieves speedily,it can also shorten the course of treatment.The 700 cases patients were divided into recovery and improvement according to the results of treatment,the analysis results are as follows:gender:(P=0.679>0.05);age:(P=0.000<0.05);early antiviral treatment:(P=0.001<0.05);location of the diseases:(P=0.103>0.05);onset seasons:(P=0.074>0.05);with underlying disease:(P=0.001<0.05);with diabetes mellitus(P=0.004<0.05);with malignant tumors(P=0.024<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:The study shows that our treatment measures have a satisfactory curative effect,and worthwhile for spreading in clinical practice.The older the more difficult to cure;use antiviral drugs in the first week can increase the cure rate;coalescent basic disease,would increase the difficulty of the cure.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to pay more attention to the elderly patients,without antiviral therapy in the early stage,with underlying disease,and use various treatment measures to alleviate the acute soreness.
