Objective:The purpose of the study was to explore characteristics of TCM syndrome elements and syndrome differentiation regularity of type 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia through the application of factor analysis, cluster analysis and syndrome elements differentiation system, explore the TCM syndrome differentiation regularity of type 2 diabetes and dyslipidemia, in order to provide a reference basis for the syndrome differentiation and treatment in clinical. Methods:Through setting clinical observation scale, screening out 313 patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia to study TCM syndrome and syndrome differentiation regularity of type 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia through useing of statistical methods, such as factor analysis, cluster analysis. And application methods of frequency analysis, variance analysis, to explore the correlation between the every syndrome type of the disease and age, body mass index (BMI) and glucose-lipid metabolism related indicators(fasting plasma glucose, postprandial 2 hours blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, triglycerides, total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-density lipoprotei n cholesterol, etc.)Results:1.Clinical data distribution analysis:age:the study included 313 pati ents of type 2 diabetes mellituswith dyslipidemia, among which 212 were male, female 101 cases;Illness is given priority to with old age, a total of 157 cases(50.16%)Statistically differences between different age and gender (P<0.01). Bad habits:313 cases of patients, a total of 142 patients with smoking, male 137 cases(58.05%),5 cases(2.12%)of women; A total of 92 patients with alcohol, male 92 cases (38.98%). Women in 2 cases (0.85%).Body mass index(BMI):the number of overweight participants at most,a total of 137 cases(43.77%), followed by obese patients 84 cases(26.84%). Complications:the most common complicated was diabetes peripheral neuropathy(256cases, accounts 81.79%).Diabetic peripheral vascular lesions following up(224 cases, accounts for71.57%). Along with the disease:most patients with high blood pressure, a total of 190 cases (60.70%);Fatty liver,109 cases (34.82).2. The four diagnostic information frequency analysis:313 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia frequency>10%of the total of 48 patients with symptoms, including frequency of 50% or more a limb numbness of skin(68.37%), the night to urinate more (61.66%), languid cool(60.06%),1imbs(55.59%), thirst(51.44%), irritability(50.16%).3.The TCM syndrome elements frequency analysis:313 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia in TCM syndrome factor,a total of 24 items, including the location of disease syndrome elements 10,14 disease nature syndrome elements;Disease syndrome elements involved in the kidney(80.51%), liver(57.51%), spleen(34.50%), heart (15.97%). Disease nature syndrome elements involved in Yin deficiency (87.22%), Yang deficiency(65.81%), qi depression(60.38%), sputum (50.48%), wet(42.17%),massive hemorrhage(39.30%), and qi stagnation and blood stasis(15.97%), heat(13.42%).4. The distribution of syndrome elements and age:diseasc syndrome elements and the distribution of age, young adults:kidney (5.75%),liver(4.79%), spleen (2.56%),heart(1.92%),stomach(1.60%). Middle age:kidney(31.95%), liver(21.73%), spleen(13.74%), heart(6.39%), stomach, (3.51%);Elderly:kidney(42.81%), liver (30.99%), spleen(18.21%), heart(7.6 7%), stomach (3.19%). Deficiency syndrome elements and the distribution of age, youngadults:Yin deficiency(8.31%), Yang deficiency(28.12%), qi deficiency(3.83%), deficiency of blood(1.28%);Midiife:Yin defici ency(33.87%),qi deficiency(24.92%), Yang deficiency(28.12%), deficiency of blood(15.65%);Old age:Yin deficiency (45.05%), qi deficiency(32.27%), Yang deficiency (33.87%), blood deficiency(22.36%). Empirical syndrome elements and the distribution of age, young adults:wet(2.56%), blood stasis(2.56%), yang hyperactivity(2.56%), fever(2.56%), phlegm(2.24%), qi depression(1.28%). Middle-aged:phlegm (22.68%), wet(19.49%), blood stasis(12.46%), yang hyperactivity(10.86%), fever(6.71%), and qi depression(6.39%). Elderly:phlegm(25.56%),wet (20.12%),blood stasis(18.21%), yang hyperactivity(13.10%),qi depression(8.31%), fever (4.15%).5. We find 5 syndrome types of 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia, combining syndrome elements differentiation, which are deficiency of the kidney-yang qi, deficiency of liver and kindey-yin accompany with blood stasis, qi depression of stomach, deficiency of spleen and kidney-yin and yang with qi-blood deficiency of heart, qi stagnation and blood stasis.6. There is signification statistical difference in age of five kinds of syndrome types of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia(P<0.05).7. There is no signification statistical difference in BMI, history of dri nking, smoking hi story, glucose-lipid metabol ic index on the 5 types of syndrome types of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia(P>0.05).Conclution:1.The study of syndrome elements differentiation shows that type 2 diabetes mellitus with dyslipidemia syndrome elements of the location of disease mainly involve the kidney, liver, spleen. The mainly disease syndrome of nature is deficiency syndrome. Mainly involved yin deficiency, yang deficiency,qi deficiency. Disease with the nature syndrome and the location of syndrome of deficiency syndrome have same distribution in young, middle-aged and the elderly, however, disease syndrome of nature of empirical syndrome in those people are different, young adults are mainly involved wet, heat, blood stasis, yang hyperactivity, middle and old age is given priority to be phlegm, dampness, blood stasis, yang hyperactivity.2. Type 2 diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia mainly belong to deficiency syndrome accompanied with excess syndrome, and the deficiency of liver and kidney-Yin is main syndrome type of the disease.3. Patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus combined dyslipidemia are given priority to be old age,and more men than women signi ficantly.4. Patients, of type 2 diabetes mellitus involved dyslipidemia have associated with BMI,history of drinking, smoking hi story, glucolipid metabolic index but no significant relationship with five kinds of syndrome types.
