AIDS epidemic situation in Yunnan Province is a challenge for local people and government. This research uses interview method,expert consultation method and field research, to explore the social risk management of AIDS in the border area of Yunnan province. This study aims to study the current situation and problems of HIV /AIDS social risk management in Yunnan Province, and made relevant countermeasures and suggestions. In this research, AIDS social risk evaluation index system were build up through expert consultation Construction in Yunnan province, including 6 first level indicators:population health risk, economic life risk, political life risk, social life risk, cultural psychology and natural ecological risk,and 14 level two indexes and 40 level three indexes. This study also analyzed Western L County in Yunnan Province by field research, combined with the analysis of the local social AIDS risk qualitative research methods, and conducted a special discussion on the problem of AIDS social risk floating population. Cross border population movement, especially the issue of cross-border marriage, not only bring more challenges to the AIDS prevention and control work, but also caused a series of social risks. Yunnan is a multi-ethnic province, regional differences, social management of AIDS content should also be different, for AIDS prevention and control work should be emphasized to develop detailed program, after careful investigation and study to understand the situation. This research confirmed that the risk management of AIDS Society toward standardization, in the future should be specialized, make a scientific prediction, effective management, will make new progress on the AIDS social risk management work.
