A Comparative Study Of The Effects Of Wallis Interspinous Stabilization System And Simple Intervertebral Disc Nucleus Removal On Adjacent Segment Degeneration

Objective : To analyze the application effect of Wallis in the treatment of lumbar degenerative disease.Methods: 52 cases of lumbar degenerative disease were selected and randomly assigned into two groups, the control group with discectomy surgical treatment,the study group with spinous process of inter- and intra fixation Wallis treatment, compared two groups of patients with clinical curative effect.Results: VAS, JOA and ODI scores of the two groups were compared with the preoperative and postoperative 1 week and the last follow-up, P < 0.05. At 1weeks after operation, the H1 height of the study group was compared with that before operation, P < 0.05; control group H2 height and preoperative contrast,P > 0.05; two groups of patients with H2 height, IA height and preoperative contrast, P > 0.05. At the last follow-up, the H1 height of the study group was compared with the preoperative P > 0.05. The height of the control group was compared with the preoperative P, H1 < 0.05; the two groups of patients with H2 height, IA height and preoperative contrast, P < 0.05. The incidence of complications in the control group was 34.62%, and the study group was 7.69%,P < 0.05.Conclusion: The short term therapeutic effect of Wallis is better in the treatment of lumbar spine, and is suitable for clinical application.
