Objective Weightlifting common sports injuries include wrist pain. The symptom of wrist pain could be alleviated by releasing the forearm flexor and extensor muscle alternatively. Researching the wrist pain of weightlifter through musculoskeletal area is rare internal at present. The symptom of wrist pain would get worse because of the imbalance of forearm flexor and extensor muscle strength. Probe the relationship between flexor/extensor ratio and weightlifter wrist pain through flexor and extensor changed by training man-made.Methods 22 Chengdu Sports university Weightlifting team athletes were selected as the research object.Divided into flexor intervention group and extensor intervention group randomly. Test the strength of forearm flexor, extensor muscle by KEISER 003020 PP working out equipment. Confirm the intervention drawn load according to the results of muscle strength test. Intervention last 6 weeks for the flexor and extensor group respectively. Use the paired samples T test to analysis the the frequency and the functional score of the two groups before and after intervention. Use the independent samples T tests to analysis the pain frequency between flexor group and extensor group after the intervention. Use the Pearson correlation analysis to analysis the relationship between functional score, pain frequency and flexor/extensor ratio. Results Significantly difference between the wrist pain frequency of right wrist flexor group before and after. Significantly difference between the wrist pain frequency of right wrist extensor group before and after(P<0.05). Wrist pain frequency of flexor group increased, the wrist pain frequency of extensor group decreased. No significantly difference for left wrist flexor and extensor group before and after. The wrist pain frequency has significantly difference between right wrist flexor group and right wrist extensor group after the intervention(P<0.05). No significantly difference for left wrist flexor and extensor group after the intervention. Significantly difference between the wrist functional score of wrist flexor and extensor group before and after(P<0.05). The flexor/extensor ratio, wrist pain frequency and functional score have no correlation after the Pearson correlation analysis(P>0.05).Conclusion Clear correlation between the weightlifter wrist pain and fexor/extensor ratio imbalance. Forearm extensor strength training could improve the function of weightlifter wrist. Flexor/extensor ratio imbalance has no clear influence to the frequency of wrist pain.
