Obejective:To study recognition and the expression of NGF and EGF in brain tissue of intrauterine growth retardation offspring rats.Methods:Fourty animals were divided into 5 groups at radmon:nomal group,model group,Liuweidihuang high does group,Liuweidihuang medium does group and Liuweidihuang low does group.The IUGR model was established by passive smoking.Nomal group and model group were fed by water, treatment groups were fed respectively by 2.064g/ml?1.082g/ml?0.54g/ml. On the 19 th day of pregnancy,four of every group pregnant rats were killed.The body and brain weight of lively fetal rat were scaled respectively,then the expression quantity of NGF and EGF were figured up by immunohistochemical method. After spontaneous labor,feeding newborn rat long 1mouth.Then Study recognition and the expression of NGF and EGF.Results:(1) passive-smoking can decrease brain weight,Liuweidihuang high does group increase brain weight;Model group was lower than nomal group on the expression of NGF and EGF(P<0.05),treat group was higher than model group on the expression of NGF and EGF(P<0.01 or P<0.05).(2) After passive smoking, rat escape latency is longer and travel path is less(p<0.05).after medicine treat,match with moder group, rat escape latency is shorter and travel path is more( p <0.05).Immunohistochemical and RT-q PCR are similar, after passive smoking, Model group was lower than normal group on the expression of NGF and EGF(P<0.01 or p< 0.05), after medicine treat, match with moder group,Liuweidihuang Decoction were higher than model group on the expression of NGF and EGF(P<0.01 or p<0.05).Conclusion: Passive smoking can decrease recognition and expression of NGF and EGF, treat group can improve recognition and and expression of NGF and EGF,which may be possible mechanism of yizhijiannao.
