The history of cultural development, to a certain extent, is the history of the thinking development. In people's social practice, it is thinking to provide the real situation and the law of motion of the objective world, which promotes cultural development. In activities of people's thinking, thinking is always expressed as a certain mode. The mode of thinking is a condensate form of cultural in the field of thinking; it also plays a role in guiding the formation and development of the culture. The mode of thinking is not only an integral part of culture but also in culture's deepest level. Besides, it has important function of control, domination and orientation to cultural construction. In a sense, the continuation of the culture is the continuation of thinking mode; cultural changes, update and creation also depend primarily on changes, update and creation of thinking mode.For theory and practice of traditional Chinese medicine, it has unique modes of thinking. These unique modes rooted in China's traditional cultural heritage and lasted thousands years. Holistic thinking, dialectical thinking, imagery thinking and Confucian style thinking, in traditional Chinese culture, can be seen everywhere. With the influx of Western culture, under the influence of Western logical analysis, the role of traditional modes of thinking are diluted. Only in theory and practice of Traditional Chinese medicine, these modes of thinking are retained in an integrated way. Furthermore, they extended with the development of traditional traditional Chinese medicine.When Chinese culture continues to Xuantong first year, an epoch-making medical book in Chinese medical history-Yi Xue Zhong Zhong Can Xi Lu was published its first three parts. After that, the other four parts are published. The book is called "the first law book of medicine", with very prominent replicability. That sort out its modes of thinking, for the inheritance and development of Zhang Xichun's theory and practice essence, has great significance; thus the modes of thinking research in traditional Chinese medicine can be glimpsed.Purposes:1) In the depth of Chinese traditional culture, explore the cultural genes of major modes of thinking in Yi Xue Zhong Zhong Can Xi Lu. Way of thinking is a product of social historical and cultural development, and it is a core part of human culture. Its emergence and development are inextricably linked with the social history and culture of that time. This article traces the history and culture, explores the formation of several major modes of thinking individually to clear their origins.2) In the course of research thinking modes, combine with the historical background, thinking object, starting with writing comprehensive analysis to explore the paths for researching traditional Chinese medicine thinking modes;3) Based on the research of thinking modes in this article, combining with the current medical status in China, analyze the influences of Zhang Xichun's thinking to future and its guiding significance to modern medicine, in order to serve medicine's future development in a better way.Methods:This paper is completed under the financial aid of the following researches: Research into Cognitive Model of TCM Diagnosis-Treatment Based on Automatic Question and Answer System (No.30873461), Research into TCM Diagnosis-Treatment Methods Based on Cognitive Process (No.90409005), and Research into Diagnosis-Treatment Thinking method of Doctor's Based on Their Cognition (No.JYB22-XS003). First, through literature retrospective method, explore the origins of major thinking modes in Yi Xue Zhong Zhong Can Xi Lu. Take medical theories and diagnosis-treatment data as research subject; under the guidance of theories in traditional Chinese medicine, explore the modes of thinking of Zhang Xichun. Then, inspect and verify them in clinical practice; thus, combine the theories of thinking modes with clinical practice.Results:In the process of literature analysis for exploring the origins of thinking modes, complete the formation analysis of holistic thinking, dialectical thinking, imagery, thought and Confucian style thinking. Analyze the using law of these thinking mode in Yi Xue Zhong Zhong Can Xi Lu; based on Chinese traditional culture and Zhang Xichun's thinking law, complete the feature analysis of thinking modes. Then analyze the influence of Zhang Xichun to future medicine. Besides, under the guidance of these thinking modes, inspect and verify them in clinical practice; it can improve the clinical efficacy.Conclusion:The development of traditional Chinese medicine is combined with Chinese traditional culture's development. The thinking modes of traditional Chinese medicine come from traditional Chinese culture; in return, they enrich the traditional Chinese culture and it plays a positive role in latter's development. Confucianism. Buddhism and Taoism are the core of traditional Chinese culture; their ideas and concepts play key roles in the formation and development of holistic thinking, dialectical thinking, imagery thinking and Confucian style thinking. However, holistic thinking is the most fundamental mode of thinking in traditional Chinese culture, which permeates into the three other thinking modes as the most important thinking mode Yi Xue Zhong Zhong Can Xi Lu. These thinking modes link up Zhang Xichun's medical thinking and profoundly influent the later medical development in a positive way.
