Research On UAV Ground Station System For Agricultural Plant Protection Intelligent Operation

Abstract/Summary:
At present,in the case of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)industry’s in full swing,its application in the field of agricultural plant protection is being paid attention to.As the brain of the UAV of plant protection,the ground station has also been paid more and more attention.Throughout the industry of UAV,there is lack of a GCS(Ground Control Station)that truly applies to the UAV of agricultural plant protection.In view of the current weakness of open source ground station,I attend to design a GCS which is fit in the field of agricultural plant protection,which is based on the needs of the enterprises.Because almost GCS use open source communication protocol and this protocol normally transmit data in the form of plain text,it may cause a great potential safety hazard.Aim to this,the paper makes some research of open source communication protocol and puts forward a security encryption method for the control link of plant protection UAV,which guarantee the safety of control link for data transmission.Aiming at the complexity of GCS’s route planning and the irregularity of farmland area,this design realizes an intelligent algorithm of automatic route generation on the basis of finishing the base route planning,which should greatly reduce the difficulty of the planning for farming.For the problems in current popular open source GCS like the complicated data display,not strong farming data pertinence and not applicable map,after carefully customizing the farming data of the UAV of plant protection,the design finishes its farming data summary display function basing on the research for the electronic map.At last,I carry on the coverage test for the stability and accuracy of the whole system.The result of several tests shows that the GCS can not only show crop protection machine’s farming data efficiently but also show the current plane’s flight attitude.Moreover,it indicates that the encryption method of safety control link data is reliable.Using the function of intelligent farming planning,the difficulty of route planning is greatly reduced.Furthermore,I do the droplets tests for the farming effect of the UAV of plant protection and then analyze the result of tests carefully.
